Dr. Thorsten Kleibold is a partner in the auditing department of OBT Ltd, a medium-sized auditing and consulting firm belonging to the international network Baker Tilly.

Dr. Thorsten Kleibold began his professional career in auditing and consulting in 1999. He completed his training as a tax advisor and auditor in Germany, where he worked for a Big4 company for many years.

For ten years, Thorsten Kleibold was a member of the management board of EXPERTsuisse, Zurich, where he was responsible for matters of professional development at the association. In this role, Thorsten Kleibold was, among other things, delegate to AccountancyEurope in Brussels.

At the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), New York, Thorsten Kleibold has been a Non-Executive Director for many years.

Thorsten Kleibold completed his academic education at the University of Paderborn, Germany, and Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh, United Kingdom. He received his doctorate from the University of St. Gallen (HSG) at the interface of accounting, corporate and insolvency law. Thorsten Kleibold holds a lectureship at the HSG.
